The Victorian Energy Upgrades Program
The Victorian Energy Upgrades program offers a range of activities, including project-based activities and Measurement & Verification (M&V) upgrades, to help businesses lower their energy bills and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Based on the findings of the audit, businesses can create Victorian Energy Efficiency Certificates (VEECs) for each tonne of carbon dioxide equivalent they are projected to save. These VEECs can then be sold, providing a financial incentive that can subsidize the cost of implementing the recommended upgrades from the energy audit.
