Victorian Energy Upgrades (VEU)

A Victorian Government initiative that provides rebates for energy-saving upgrades in homes and businesses, including hot water systems, air conditioning and lighting.

Victorian Energy Efficiency Certificates (VEECs)

VEECs are generated when you install approved energy-efficient products under the VEU program. The number of certificates issued depends on the level of energy savings achieved.

Solar Homes Program Rebate

Victorian households can receive a rebate of up to $1,400 for installing rooftop solar, helping reduce electricity bills while improving energy independence.

Solar Homes Program Interest-Free Loan

In addition to the solar rebate, eligible homeowners can also apply for an interest-free loan of the same value, making solar more accessible without the upfront financial burden.

NSW Energy Savings Scheme (ESS)

This scheme rewards businesses in New South Wales for reducing energy use. Eligible upgrades can generate Energy Savings Certificates (ESCs), which help lower installation costs.

Queensland Business Energy Saving and Transformation (QBEST) Rebates

Available to small and medium Queensland businesses looking to upgrade appliances or systems to more energy-efficient models.

Large-scale Generation Certificates (LGCs)

Large-scale Generation Certificates (LGCs) support solar systems over 100kW by rewarding ongoing renewable energy production. Businesses earn LGCs for each megawatt-hour generated, providing a continuous incentive for sustainable, large-scale energy solutions.

Small Scale Technology Certificates (STC's)

Small-scale Technology Certificates (STCs) are government incentives that lower the upfront costs of solar installations under 100kW by assigning a value to the environmental benefits generated. For businesses, STCs can significantly reduce initial investment, making solar more accessible.
