THE PROBLEM.

The Workwear Group is a leading distributor of workwear and safety gear, known for their commitment to quality products and outstanding customer service. However, like many businesses, the Workwear Group faced a significant challenge when it came to sustainability. Prior to engaging with Australian Energy Upgrades, the company had a problem with non-sustainability that needed to be addressed.

One of the main areas where the Workwear Group faced sustainability challenges was in their lighting system. The company had an outdated lighting system that was not only inefficient but also had a negative impact on the environment. The lighting system was energy-intensive and consumed a significant amount of electricity, contributing to the company’s overall carbon footprint.

Recognizing the need to address their sustainability challenges, the Workwear Group engaged with Australian Energy Upgrades to implement a range of energy-efficient solutions. Australian Energy Upgrades designed a customised solution that would not only improve energy efficiency but also reduce operating costs and improve the company’s sustainability profile.

The solution included the installation of energy-efficient lighting solutions, including LED high bays, shop lights, battens, troffers, and external floodlights. These new lighting solutions significantly reduced the company’s energy consumption and operating costs, while also improving lighting quality and safety.

In conclusion, the Workwear Group faced significant sustainability challenges prior to engaging with Australian Energy Upgrades. However, by implementing a range of energy-efficient solutions, the company was able to significantly reduce its environmental footprint, improve operational efficiency, and improve its bottom line. This serves as an excellent example of how businesses can take proactive measures to address sustainability challenges, improving their overall performance and making a positive impact on the environment.

How Does Solar
Work?

Solar Panels work through receiving the sun's energy and transform it into electricity consumed for household and commercial purposes. These consist of photovoltaic cells (PV), wirings to allow energy flow and a glass packaging. Photovoltaic cells are made of silicon, constructed with a negative and a positive layer which together creates an electric field.
